Cork Schools Orienteering Association

Cork Schools Orienteering Association (C.S.O.A.) has been running since the early eighties and now caters to all affiliated primary and secondary schools in Co. Cork. The aim is to promote awareness, enjoyment, fitness and competition in this sport, along with encouraging the participating pupils to enjoy, appreciate and respect the great outdoors of hills, sand dunes, woods and forests.

Each year we have introductory/coaching days, two league events and a county championship. Schools can also participate in a  Munster and All-Ireland Championship and there is even a possibility of competing at the world schools championships held every two years.  All schools are welcome, both primary and secondary, boys and girls, and help and coaching will be provided to all who those need it.
If you woud like to involve your school in this fantastic sport for children of all ages, then please use the contact details tab above and feel free to try out an event. To get a feel of what schools' orientering is all about just click on the following link...................
